Order Your Plants Early

1. Order early to plant early.

Plant early so that some new root growth occurs before the plant must endure the season of hardship cold or heat. This also means that the soil must be prepared in advance. One main problem with spring planting is that the soil is usually too wet just when planting should be in full swing. Plan ahead. For spring planting, prepare the soil the previous autumn.
